The Cartographies series has been bubbling for quite some time. These maps point to an unknowable elsewhere, a new mythology or a freedom just beyond the bend. In an effort to reduce waste as much as possible, I keep my scraps from quilts, garments and hats and re-piece them. Some are made into wearables and some exist solely a pieced textile.
